Application for Practicing Rapid Reading Techniques

Main goal of this bachelor´s thesis is creation user interface for correct fast reading practise. Four moduls train various abilities of human eyes in regard to average and advanced reader. Application was created as WinForm and thematically is connected with human sight, which hide incredible potential for most of people. The bachelor´s thesis analyse features of eye, individual types of exercises, implementation, concrete developement of user interface and users reactions from their own testing.

Barriers and facilitators of sport activities in adults with congenital physical disabilities: A Systematic Review

Title: Barriers and facilitators of sport activities in adults with congenital physical disabilities: A Systematic Review Background: Globally, there are over a billion individuals with disabilities in the world. Those individuals may have one or more physical attributes affected by their condition, restricting their access to sports, fitness activities, and physical tasks related to work or household activities. The lack of exercise poses a significant public health concern and may hinder undisputed benefits for physical and psychological of individual well-being. Objectives: The main objective of this thesis was to systematically review available research sources on sport and physical activity participation among adults with congenital disabilities and to identify the barriers and facilitators for such individuals to participate in physical activities and para sport. Methods: Four databases - Medline, PubMed, ERIC and Sportsdiscus were searched using terms: exercise; para sport, training, physical activity, continuous exercise, and the range of congenital disabilities. We employed a blend of MeSH terms specific to the database, free-form text, wildcard characters (employing '*' to truncate words), and Boolean operators ('AND', 'OR'). The most common injuries in tennis and their prevention

Tennis is one of the most popular sports around the world. Due to the dynamics of movement and unpredictable shots and strikes, it ranks among the sports with a high percentage of injuries. This thesis dealt with the analysis of the most common types of injuries in this sport, both in professional players and recreational players. The aim was to find out what these injuries are, in which areas of the body and what their possible prevention is. According to the analysis of many studies and researches, it was found that the most frequent injuries occur in the upper limbs, and more so in professional players. For recreational players, it is more likely to be the lower extremities, although some studies contradict each other. In order to prevent these injuries, it is advisable, in addition to appropriate training, strength training, stretching, warm-ups and other preventive physical activities, to also address the issue of appropriate equipment, adaptation to the playing field, selection of appropriate footwear and a healthy lifestyle. By means of a descriptive analysis, the main and available studies in this area were presented, which introduce the latest trends and challenges for the future.
